Eric Carlton

Eric Carlton is a Vice President with Oakhurst Realty Partners and has over 17 years of experience in commercial real estate with a focus on tenant representation and development. At Oakhurst Realty Partners, Mr. Carlton is active in retail and office leasing, investment sales, and land transactions. Prior to Oakhurst Realty Partners, Mr. Carlton was with Joel & Granot Real Estate for five years and previously served with Grubb & Ellis Co., where he brokered the largest lease transaction in the Gwinnett office submarket in 2008. Before starting his commercial real estate career, Eric worked for several Congressional offices and a trade association in Washington, D.C. He has completed over $115 million in sales and leasing transactions to date, and is one of the few commercial real estate agents in Atlanta to have earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED A.P.) designation awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council where he subsequently served on the Steering Committee and the Diversity Committee to write the LEED for Retail - New Construction standards. Eric is a member of the Professional Standards Committee of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, and serves on the Board of the Technology Association of Georgia Finance Society. Mr. Carlton holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and is a Board Member of the T.U. Atlanta Alumni Association.
